Electrical Engineer

Job description

Transform technical requirements into reliable electrical solutions

Electrical systems only perform as intended when requirements, architecture, interfaces, documentation, and design decisions are aligned throughout the product lifecycle.

As an Electrical Engineer at CREADIS, you will contribute to the development and improvement of complex industrial products and systems. Working with electrical system requirements, component engineering, EPLAN design, and technical documentation, you will help transform technical specifications into release-ready engineering deliverables.

You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, controls, manufacturing, quality, and product specialists while contributing to projects across industrial automation, renewable energy, and advanced technology solutions.

Develop electrical systems from requirements to release

Your work will include:

  • Analysing electrical system requirements, architectures, interfaces, and component functionality
  • Defining and maintaining electrical requirements across products and subsystems
  • Translating technical specifications into controlled engineering deliverables
  • Creating and updating electrical schematics using EPLAN Electric P8, AutoCAD, or similar tools
  • Selecting and validating electrical components including cables, power supplies, protection devices, switchgear, transformers, drives, and control equipment
  • Maintaining EPLAN libraries, macros, templates, reports, and engineering master data
  • Supporting verification and validation activities through design reviews, calculations, testing, and technical documentation
  • Identifying technical risks, interface issues, and requirement gaps across disciplines
  • Reviewing electrical documentation to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance
  • Driving continuous improvements, standardisation initiatives, and design optimisation activities
  • Coordinating technical topics with stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and service functions

What You Bring

We imagine that you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • 4-8 years of experience within electrical design, electrical systems engineering, or product development
  • Hands-on experience with EPLAN Electric P8, AutoCAD, or similar electrical CAD platforms
  • Solid understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, power distribution, control circuits, PLCs, drives, switchgear, and protection devices
  • Experience with component selection, bills of materials, cable documentation, and drawing release processes
  • The ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and component documentation
  • A structured and quality-focused engineering mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international stakeholders

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

  • Wind energy or other complex industrial products
  • Product lifecycle management systems such as Windchill or Teamcenter
  • Engineering BOM management and ERP systems
  • Electrical standards including IEC, UL, NEC, and NFPA
  • Global customers and distributed engineering teams

Why Join CREADIS?

At CREADIS, you will become part of an international engineering community where collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional development are highly valued.

You will contribute to engineering solutions for global customers while developing your experience across electrical system engineering, product design, EPLAN, product lifecycle processes and controlled technical documentation.

If you enjoy understanding electrical systems and converting technical requirements into high-quality engineering solutions, drawings and documentation, we would like to hear from you.
